Right on schedule just weeks before the election, Ruben Brekelmans, the defense minister of the Netherlands, has granted approval for Ukraine to use the weapons it sent on targets deep within Russian territory, including on the capital city of Moscow.
Despite repeated warnings from Vladimir Putin that this crosses a “red line,” Brekelmans feels as though Volodymyr Zelensky should be allowed to use Western weapons on major Russian cities – as if Putin just plans to sit back and let that happen.
“The right to self-defense does not end 100 kilometers from the border,” Brekelmans proclaimed, using the same “self-defense” language that Israel constantly uses to justify committing genocide.
The Netherlands is now the first nation to authorize Ukraine to cross Putin’s red line, suggesting that country could be the first to feel the ire of Russia in the form of retaliation.
“We have not placed any operational restrictions on Ukraine regarding distance,” Brekelmans further said.

It would seem as though the West wants Putin to do something major before Americans get the chance to choose between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump this November. Will they succeed?
“As I have said, my fear is that they know what they are doing, and Putin has shown tremendous restraint,” writes Martin Armstrong of Armstrong Economics. “They want him to be overthrown by Russian Neocons, and they will not hesitate to use nuclear weapons.”
“It looks like he has foolishly committed the Netherlands to World War III placing his own people’s lives on the line for the Neocons and NATO’s long dream of the conquest of Russia.”
Armstrong further writes that Brekelmans’ declaration fulfills his model’s forecast about a “Directional Change in 2025.” What this means is that the direction or trajectory of the global economy as it currently exists is about to change, possibly starting with a market collapse.
“Brekelmans has fulfilled our model’s forecast,” Armstrong writes. “We have a Directional Change in 2025, and the share market appears to be prepared to enter crash mode. We may see a 3-year bear market now into 2027.”
“As I have said, 30 years ago, everyone sought world peace. Today, they just want a world war without a second thought.”
Brekelmans, by the way, also called for all other countries, including the United States, to do the same as the Netherlands by giving Zelensky the green light to do whatever he wishes with all the Western weapons he has been gifted over the past several years.
“If the country is attacked from border areas or Russian airfields, it can target [those] military objects,” he said, adding that this also applies to enemy missiles that can be intercepted by Dutch weapons over Russia.
Because of the complex nature of weapons of war – various components on the same weapon could be produced by a number of different countries – Ukraine is still waiting to get the official green light from the U.S., which seems to be pointing towards joining the Netherlands in unleashing World War III.
As of now, the United Kingdom and France have not yet given permission to Kyiv to fire Storm Shadow / SCALP EG cruise missiles into Russia because components of the technology are covered by Washington’s International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Following the offensive by Moscow in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, Kyiv’s request for permission to start firing into Russia intensified with greater urgency. It could be mere days, in other words, until the final red line is crossed and WWIII erupts like none other.
